JOB DESCRIPTION

YOUR TASKS

• strategic purchasing of direct materials for the entire group
• negotiations with suppliers on price, contracts, etc.
• working closely with production and supply chain management across the group
• leading cost saving projects from a purchasing perspective
• Supplier management - performance and reliability evaluation
• developing purchasing strategy
• regular market analysis
• recording the necessary data, suppliers, price lists and/or documents in the SAP information system

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

Requirements:

• at least 3 years' experience in strategic purchasing
• experience in purchasing steel, titanium, aluminium a great advantage
• Experience in purchasing forgings and castings welcome
• English language at a communicative level a prerequisite and German an advantage
• flexible, assertive with strong communication skills
• independence, precision, responsibility
