Michael Oberhansberg joins BOOSTER
Change at the top of BOOSTER Sales: Michael Oberhansberg becomes the company’s new Group Sales Director. The 55-year-old took over the position from Christoph Cordes on November 1. As an engineer with an additional degree in economics, he has worked for Forvia Faurecia car seats for the past 24 years. There he was responsible for a wide variety of tasks: The implementation of development and industrialization programs, the lead of Program-Management-Organizations, the management of sales departments as well as the responsibility of restructuring and transformation projects. He was also responsible for customer accounts for almost all well-known OEMs in Germany and abroad. “With his wealth of experience, Michael Oberhansberg is an absolute asset for BOOSTER to further expand the existing business and develop new customers and markets”, says Chief Executive Officer Jerko Bartolić. “I am looking forward to the new challenge and I am sure that together as a team we will initiate new and successful projects for BOOSTER,” says Michael Oberhansberg.
His predecessor Christoph Cordes is leaving BOOSTER at the end of the year to take on new challenges after almost eight years with the company. “Looking back, the development of a new corporate strategy and the successful introduction of new business areas outside of the core ICE business was a milestone. Likewise, the merging of our company from two separate companies, namely CCN and Prae Turbo, with different plants into one group,” he summarizes. “Our teams work together internationally, exchange ideas across borders and support each other in day-to-day business. I am glad to have been a part of this.”
